Responsibility
- assist with the production of monthly financial reports and support production of management accounts
- assist with all statutory reporting and audit and tax compliance requirements both internal and external reviews
- support product costing, carry out stock reconciliation and valuation including physical stock counts
- manage sub ledgers including the asset register, cash book, sales & purchase ledger
- manage business risk, insurance and legal topics ensuring compliance with the law and group policies
- monitor controls in line with best practice financial standards or if defined Constantia Group standards. Ensure all financial transaction are in line with business/financial controls. Continue to develop and improve controls where required
- preparation and submission of VAT return, monthly & annual payroll tax & corporation tax; any other tax duties including report to group tax Dept
Requirements
- well developed business process knowledge
- proven cross functional experience – Can work with all levels of the business
- ability to review and develop existing systems and processes
- strong collaboration and communication skills
- final year of study towards degree in Finance & Accounting or further
