Responsibility
- taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
- ensuring customers make payment within agreed payment terms
- generating monthly statements, first letters and final demands and ensuring these are checked and sent out within the agreed timescale
- dealing with customers professionally by phone, letter, and e-mail
- passing accounts for external debt collection when necessary
- maintain accurate records of all activity
- taking card payments over the phone
- setting up payment plans when required
Requirements
- experience of working with SAGE Accounts software
- experience of working in a similar Accounts Administrator or Credit Control role
- professional Telephone Manner
- good Numeracy and accurate Data Entry Skills
- strong Communication Skills
- professional, confident, and diplomatic when liaising with others
- exceptional organisational skills and ability to pay attention to detail
- credit control: 1 year
