Responsibility

  • we have a vacancy for a permanent position within our company as a Meat Processing Machine Operator
  • the position is available immediately
  • normal start time is 5.00 am , finishing around 2.00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • overtime will be available during busy periods
  • basic rate is £11.50 per hour, with overtime at time & half
  • because of the early start time some form of personal transport will be required
  • duties will include operating mincing & dicing machines, together with all other tasks that are involved in the day to day operation of a meat processing unit
  • this will include, for example, moving pallets, unboxing material, cleaning machinery and can be heavy, physical work that will require a reasonable level of fitness
