I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with Comva Ltd. As a responsible consumer, I understand that cars are typically sold as seen. However, it seems that Comva Ltd is using a monthly auction as a means to avoid adhering to the Consumer Rights Act. This is a concerning practice that undermines consumer protection.
In an attempt to alleviate my concerns about their reputation and the safety of the vehicle, Comva Ltd allowed me to test drive the car within the confines of their yard. Given that I would be driving the car with my daughter and dogs, it was crucial for me to be confident in its performance and reliability. Unfortunately, a two-minute drive on their premises in low gears did not provide an accurate reflection of the car's condition.
To my dismay, I had to call out the RAC (Royal Automobile Club) today as the car required immediate attention from a professional mechanic. It is frustrating to realize that despite the car having an 11-month MOT and being presented by a seemingly competent salesman, I now find myself dealing with unexpected repairs and expenses.
While it is true that inspecting a car is important, it is equally essential to test-drive it to truly assess its functionality. Comva Ltd, however, appears to disregard this critical aspect. Moreover, their lack of concern and responsiveness when I tried to reach out to them regarding the issues I faced is deeply disappointing.
I strongly advise potential car buyers to avoid Comva Ltd at all costs. Engaging with this company could lead to a regrettable experience, akin to handing over the keys to your house and allowing them to continue taking advantage of unsuspecting customers. It is disheartening to witness such unethical business practices that exploit people's trust.
In conclusion, I find it difficult to comprehend how individuals can operate and own a business like Comva Ltd, where ripping off customers seems to take precedence over practicing integrity and empathy. This experience has left me questioning the humanity of those involved.
I hope this review serves as a warning to others and prompts Comva Ltd to reevaluate their business practices and prioritize the well-being and satisfaction of their customers.
