Responsibility

  • recruit, enrol and carry out initial assessments of learners
  • develop learning plans in line with the apprenticeship standards
  • deliver consistently good training and assessment within the curriculum through an effective variety of teaching and learning activities
  • utilise existing materials and develop new materials to support the delivery of the apprenticeship
  • develop individual learning plans with each learner
  • participate in the planning and delivery of a range of programmes within the subject area to include short courses, full qualifications and apprenticeships
  • provide one-to-one sessions to learners to respond to their learning needs and to supervise and direct their work-based learning
  • carry out practical assessments, providing the relevant paperwork and record-keeping in compliance with the awarding body requirements

  • delivering apprenticeships through virtual platforms: 1 year
  • assessing and delivering apprenticeships: 2 years
  • using APTEM Learning Management System: 1 year
