Responsibility

  • at CoMech, we value collaboration, support, and continuous improvement to provide the best service to our customers
  • check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
  • notify customers or appropriate admin staff of any missing, additional, or damaged items
  • book items in a timely manner following set procedures
  • provide cover for delivery drivers during holidays and sickness absences
  • coMech, a leader in calibration, testing, and inspection services, is seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative / Driver to join our dynamic team
  • assist in loading and unloading vans, adhering to health and safety procedures
  • if you have a 'can do' attitude and thrive in a hands-on operational role, we want you to be a part of our amazing team

Requirements

  • high attention to detail and the ability to work to procedures
  • excellent communication skills
  • full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
  • PC literacy with good administrative skills
  • experience in manual handling and Goods In/Out preferred but not essential
  • ability to prioritize workload effectively
  • reliability, flexibility, and trustworthiness
  • physical fitness to handle goods and work in a busy environment
