Responsibility
- exercising keen oversight over purchases, particularly in stock
- conduct regular checks to ensure that alcohol is being served responsibly, in compliance with licensing laws
- being primary point of contact and on-site lead during the Christmas Light Trail, overseeing all aspects of execution to ensure seamless operations and exceptional attendee experiences
- encourage teamwork and communication to handle the high volume of customers typical of festive events
- responsible for leading teams across multi-bar setups, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service by providing clear and structured leadership, delegating tasks effectively, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring that team members are delivering exceptional customer service
- regularly assess bar inventory levels and forecasting stock requirements to prevent overordering while maintaining enough stock to meet customer demands during busy periods
- promote a positive and collaborative working environment, especially crucial during the cold outdoor environment typical of winter events
- maintain a positive, festive atmosphere that aligns with the spirit of the event, enhancing the overall guest experience
Requirements
- an understanding of the importance of valuing and motivating a team
- personal Licence Holder
- full Driver’s Licence
- experienced in managing in a fast-paced hospitality, production or events setting
- rough Terrain Telehandler Ticket
- an understanding of the demands of both the event and hospitality industry
- preferably First Aid and / or Food Safety certification
- A good understanding of EPOS systems
