Responsibility
- unity Coffee new coffee shop at the top of Ouseburn, on a busy route into centre of newcaslte
- we are looking for a Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea
- barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders
- to be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates
- educate customers on our drinks menu and up-sell special items, as needed
- you should be able to work various shifts
- take orders with precision and speed
- receive and process payments accurately
Requirements
- smile, Craic, and welcoming
- food service experience
- coffee "art" is preffered
- ability to remain calm during busy moments during service hours as you may be required to work alone on some shifts
- experienced barista
- customer service: 1 year
- barista experience: 1 year
