  • completion of Recognised Craft Apprenticeship
  • good overall diversity in various welding processes
  • ability to work on own initiative
  • must be conversant with fabrication drawings generated from AutoCAD
  • reasonable general fitness level required to undertake many of the processes

Responsibility

  • primarily MIG welding of general fabrication and fabricated assemblies
  • potential to train on other coded welding processes using MMA, SAW & FCAW
