Responsibility
- determining project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates
- working with internal CMR UK and external CMR Group teams, sites and departments
- supporting the CMR Group change control process to ensure timely delivery of controlled changes
- analysing data to support own projects and manager’s projects
- developing and driving improvement within engineering practices and processes
- supporting the Engineering manager in the implementation and management of a variety of projects including New Product Introduction , process improvements, Change Control, and Customer support
- taking the lead as project manager when assigned a project, and support project reviews, meetings and the creation and maintenance of project schedules/timelines by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems and keeping up to date the project dashboards in line with the NPI process
- scheduling project/engineering tasks and delivering to agreed timeframes
Requirements
- A HND or/and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management or related discipline
- previous exposure to working in manufacturing environments orassembly process improvements would be a great advantage
- microsoft Project experience is desirable
- lean Tools / Six Sigma Problem Solving experience preferred
