Requirements
experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources
experience with emerging computer or online technologies, online social behaviors, and computer or Internet slang
ability to write high-quality intelligence assessments and briefings for an executive level audience
experience creating Indicators of Compromise from technical sources and/or experience with other detection technologies
knowledge of network security technologies, log formats, SIEM technologies, and security operations
possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
experience with intelligence analysis; preferably via the Intelligence Community, Military Intelligence, or a Fortune 500 company
possess and help others team members develop ability to develop and communicate complex information concepts, in a confident and organized manner
Responsibility
oversee the day-to-day operations of CME Group's Cyber Threat Intelligence team in Belfast, which contributes to all cyber threat intelligence activities
serve as the senior on-site all-source cyber threat intelligence analyst
assist in the selection of and development of CTI team members by mentoring junior intelligence analysts and engineers
maintain extensive expertise on emerging cyber threats and trends against CME Group business lines, its technological footprint, and stakeholders
provide functional analytic support pertaining to a wide range of cyber threat actors
work closely with the Director of CTI to both develop and maintain working partnerships with functional senior leaders to ensure threat intelligence analysis and products are mapped to prioritized corporate assets and risks
perform analytic support, as needed, focused on cyber threat actor strategies, capabilities, and intent to conduct cyberspace operations, as well as cyber-oriented groups, individuals, organizations, tools, tactics, and procedures
provide quality control over team products: assist with drafting, editing, critiquing, and proofreading threat intelligence estimates, briefs, assessments, and memorandums
