Responsibility
- purchase Ledger Clerk & Accounts Administration
- part Time, Permanent
- assist in producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts, providing reporting and analysis as required
- develop expertise in using Sage accounting system for recording and verifying purchase and sales ledger transactions
- ensure proper coding and timely payment of supplier invoices in line with their terms
- manage the purchase ledger payment run, obtain approvals, and address supplier queries
- maintain supplier accounts and oversee the authorisation process
- scan and organise all finance documents and invoices into the Spindle system on Sage, ensuring an orderly finance filing system
Requirements
- previous experience in purchase or sales ledger functions
- competent in using MS Office applications
- interested in or working toward an AAT qualification
- previous experience using Sage Finance system
- excellent spreadsheet skills
- ability to operate accounting systems
- ensures that standards are maintained, and procedures are followed
- effective communication skills
