Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- assisting warehouse operative to load your vehicle ensuring all goods are present against delivery notes
- following the delivery route and format laid out by the transport supervisor
- dealing with customers face to face and in a professional and courteous manner
- good timekeeping and attendance record essential
- checking your vehicle daily with the assistance of our vehicle check list to ensure vehicle is roadworthy and in full working order
- driving one of our 3.5 tonne Clyde Cable branded vehicles and doing so in a safe and responsible manner, on average 10/15 deliveries per day
- there will be occasional warehouse duties to be carried out as instructed by the warehouse manager, these will include general tidying of the internal depot or external yard as well as other general warehouse duties
Requirements
- self-motivated, presentable, confident and courteous individual who takes pride in their work
- full Clean Driving Licence
- good customer service and communication skills
- this is a great opportunity paying approximatley £10.50 per hour
- this is a great opportunity; salary will also be considered on experience
- A knowledge of the area is beneficial but not essential
- no
