Responsibility
- deputy management of the store
- oversee, manage and motivate the team when in store
- help develop our bar offering, so the tasting rooms become a buzzing place for discovery
- ensure customers get an outstanding customer experience at all times
- we are looking for two deputy managers with experience of having worked in the bar and the skills to mix a cocktail
- drive sales through customer engagement, tastings, recommendations and telling the stories of the brands in store
- they will train junior staff members in these skills and ensure that the tasting rooms are always ready to guide the customer and the on-trade
- prioritise and be efficient with your time so you can spend more time helping customers find drinks they love
Requirements
- experience in leading a team in a fast-paced environment within retail, hospitality or a similar customer-focused industry
- desire to increase your drinks knowledge
- wine, cocktails and/or beer knowledge
- at least two years of experience working in a bar or hospitality environment
- WSET Qualification is beneficial but not essential
- excellent time-management, delegation and problem-solving skills
- customer focus and excellent communication skills to provide your colleagues with feedback to help develop themselves and the store
- the energy to support and motivate the team in busy and quiet periods
