  • NEBOSH Certification/ Diploma
  • prior experience as a Senior Manager or at Director level

Responsibility

  • ensuring that the team understands that the organisation’s profits are reflected in all its activities – including relationships & risk management
  • responsibility for compliance with legal/statutory requirements, professional duties, responsibilities and other obligations including Health & Safety, ISO, BRCGS
  • responsibility to adhere to budget and plans to maximise profitability

  • responsible for the development, performance and maintenance of the production operation of the organisation to deliver efficient production and delivery solutions, maximising performance & profitability against pre-agreed targets

Requirements

  • it is essential you have experience in a similar role within the Packaging industry ideally from the Corrugated arena
  • good commercial and business awareness
  • numerical proficiency
  • sound IT skills
  • good at problem solving
  • communicates effectively and has exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • develops strong working relationships with colleagues across departments and seniority levels
  • manages direct reports and leads a growing team
