- fitness qualifications or experience in personal training
- A degree in sports management, business, or a related field is advantageous
- experience with gym management software
- first Aid and CPR certification
- 3-5 years of management or supervisory experience in the fitness industry
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proven track record in managing gym operations, leading teams, and achieving sales targets
Responsibility
- financial Oversight: Assist with budget management, including tracking and reporting on expenses, retail sales, and ensuring revenue targets are met
- ensure the delivery of excellent customer service, addressing member needs and resolving issues in a timely manner
- daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day running of the gym, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring that the facility is always clean, safe, and operational
- ensure all equipment is properly maintained and serviced, addressing any issues promptly
- report on financial performance and key metrics to the General Manager
- coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed
- staff Supervision: Lead and motivate the team of receptionists, personal trainers, and baristas, ensuring smooth collaboration and top-level service for all gym members
