Responsibility

  • review, action and export existing contracts on to new DMA
  • engage with legal team, finance and others to take leading role in transferring contracts to new legal entities
  • liaise with customers and agencies in relation to the assignment and novation of these contracts
  • arrange, prepare agenda for, lead and follow up actions on, meetings on the DMS and restructure project
  • help legal team with other compliance projects
  • provide logistical support to legal and contracts team such as researching, drafting, checking documents
  • provide ad hoc legal support to the Legal and Contracts team as required from time to time

Requirements

  • possession of a Law Degree is essential for this role
  • fluency to business level in English, both written and spoken is key
  • self-motivated to drive projects forward
  • well organised
  • logical and process-minded with a keen eye for detail
  • inquisitive and unafraid to challenge the status quo or key internal and external stakeholders
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to develop relationships with all parts of the business including the executive leadership team
  • demonstrable experience of a UK legal working environment is advantageous, as is the ability to understand common law commercial contracts
