Responsibility
- lead the team within a designated room in the nursery, with a fair and consistent approach
- help deliver the programmes outlined for the children
- developing observations and planning along with individual educational and care plans
- maintain a safe and clean environment
- liaise with parents and external agencies
- contribute to team meetings
- any other duties as required by management
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- previous experience in a day nursery or childcare setting
- previous experience leading a team
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- reliable, punctual and able to handle the physical demands of the job
- patient with a positive attitude
