proven experience of managing people ideally across multiple sites
Contract type
provision of Operational Support at contract level
operational planning at contract level with responsibility for contract performance and monitoring
management of all directly employed staff including Area and Site Supervisors
management of budgets in liaison with the Operations Manager
collation and reporting of management information and the development of management systems
stock control - ensuring that sites have correct stock products and levels on site
carrying out risk assessments as required and sending them back to the Health & Safety Focal Point
attending new client site meetings, assisting with setup and provision of staff
Responsibility
agree action plans with site supervisor/manager to correct any poor audit scores
occasional tasks from the office at the discretion of the management and any additional ad-hoc duties as required
check all machinery when on site, ensure it is safe to use report to head office if not. Maintain site asset register, updates sent to head office
stock deliveries as and when needed
monitor and review the cleaning standards by walking the sites with the site supervisor/manager
ensure all staff rotas are in place to cover the needs of the operation taking into account peak periods and holiday periods. Review rotas on sites on a regular basis and ensure adequate cover is used when needed
make suggestions on improving the specification where appropriate
liaise with HR to effectively manage new starters ensuring their applications and correct identification papers are with Head Office within agreed timescales
