CLAYTON CARAVAN PARK is looking for employees for positions:
- efficient processing of accounting transactions
- assisting external retained Accountants with the preparation of payroll
- responding to all employee payroll enquiries
- preparation of quarterly VAT returns in compliance with HMRC regulations
- assisting external retained Accountants with the preparation of quarterly and year end management accounts will be required
- process data on and carry out bank, sales & purchase ledger reconciliations
- setting accounts up for direct debit and running the direct debits on the dates set by management
- credit Control - Ensure customers make payment within the agreed payment terms
- formal bookkeeping qualifications are expected
- experience in financial data processing, completing bank reconciliations, making journal entries, and preparing accounts to trial balance stage
- sound competency in the use of Sage accounting software
- good knowledge of VAT and experience of preparing and submitting VAT returns
- experience in assisting accountants with quarterly management and year end accounts
- strong organisational skills
- ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently to ensure that deadlines are met
- attention to detail
- ensuring the safety of customers and team members and security of equipment, chemicals, plant room and pools
- opening and Closing the facilities on site, day to day club management
- reception duties, daily cashing up and stock handling
- ensuring the cleanliness standards of the poolside, changing rooms and cafe area are monitored and exceed customer expectations
- ensuring the good working order of all pool and plant equipment and ensure that all procedures are followed in line with current regulations
- assisting with the moving and the siting/de-siting of Holiday Homes. Training provided
- moving and the siting/de-siting of Holiday Homes. Tractor driving
- operating ride on lawn mowers
- operating excavator and dumper
- general labouring
- carry out basic electrical, joinery and plumbing work
- providing an efficient strimming and grass cutting service around the park
- washing caravans and lodges, cutting edges and pressure washing decks
