- at least three years’ experience in a related role
- have a minimum of 3 years CAD design experience
- have good written and numeracy skills
- have a practical understanding of installation methods
- have a sound knowledge of document management systems
- be able to understand industry drawings from architects and engineers and subcontractors
- autoCAD: 3 years
Responsibility
- producing designs and drawings on time, ensuring procurement, manufacturing and installation phases can be completed without error and on budget
- conducting design analysis to ensure functionality, efficiency, and adherence to standards and regulations
- following procedural compliance, including design programmes, document control, risk assessments and project specifications
- liaising with architects, engineers and designers to understand their design requirements and providing technical advice to manufacturing and construction technicians
- attending and contributing to design meetings
