Responsibility
- we are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Retail Manager to oversee daily operations at Chloe's Booze
- the role involves evening and late-night shifts, depending on the needs of the business
- the ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wines and other alcoholic beverages and will possess excellent teamwork and leadership skills
- store Management: Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure smooth functioning
- product Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of wines and other alcoholic drinks to advise customers efficiently and increase sales
- inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage stock rotation to minimize wastage and ensure product freshness
- team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate the store team to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
- shift Flexibility: Be available to work during evenings, weekends, and late-night shifts, depending on business needs
Requirements
- minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service
- flexibility with work timings based on business needs; shifts can range up to late night hours
- excellent people skills with the ability to connect with diverse customer personalities
- good time management skills to balance customer interactions, administrative tasks, and other responsibilities
- strong managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to oversee schedules and manage deliveries
- strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- passion for wine and a desire to share that passion with others
- previous experience in a wine-related role or wine education is a plus
