Responsibility
- washing up and putting away
- assist with food preparation and cooking under the direction of the chef
- clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- help with plating and presentation of dishes
- maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify the chef when supplies are low
- assist with banquet and catering events as needed
Requirements
- previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
- ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- willingness to learn new skills and take direction from the chef
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
