Responsibility
- to be responsible and accountable for the management of your group room
- to put effective systems in place to monitor reporting staff performance, their folders, planning and next steps
- lead planning for the EYFS curriculum and maintain accurate and effective children’s records
- promote and facilitate partnership with parents/carers and other family members
- to ensure the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Provide high standards of quality care within the nursery including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
- to ensure that children are kept safe and that reporting staff understand, and when necessary follow, safeguarding Procedures
- ensure that the nutritional needs of the children are met and that Food Safety Regulations are complied with
- support the development of good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion. Working with the SENCOs, Early Years advisors, and health professionals
