Responsibility

  • as a Business Support Chemist
  • carrying out product and process development projects
  • resolving customer processing and application challenges
  • ensure product portfolio optimization and raw material selection in accordance with the latest industry and health and safety standards
  • collaborating with regional R&D teams to develop and optimize products and processes and contributing to the formulation of sustainable solutions and alternatives

Requirements

  • educated to degree level in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
  • extensive knowledge of chemical synthesis techniques and characterization methods
  • proficiency in using analytical instruments such as FTIR, SEM, ICP and XRD
  • familiarity with product formulation and application techniques
  • experience in problem-solving, product optimization, and development, preferably in an industrial or research setting
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • detail-oriented with good organisational and time management skills
