Responsibility

  • the successful candidate will assist the manager in over- seeing our thriving Pre-School, breakfast and after school club and holiday club
  • the role of the
  • we are looking to appoint an inspirational and outgoing Deputy Manager to join our friendly team at Community Kids, based in Bruton
  • deputy Manager is to assist the Manager to provide professional leadership and management of the setting and to help ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education
  • you will be a self-motivated and dynamic leader, working alongside the volunteer management commit- tee and acting as a positive role-model for the team of staff
  • undertake any duties as reasonably requested by line management
  • maintain and update the Website and regularly update Social Media
  • support the Manager in the day-to-day operation in order to ensure the health and safety of the children, their parents, carers, the team and any visitors to the nursery

Requirements

  • knowledge and understanding of EYFS and OFSTED requirements
  • child Protection and Safeguarding
  • paediatric First Aid
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Early Years Care and Education
