• overall management of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System
• promoting Continual Improvement and driving an incident and injury free Company Safety Culture
• ensuring Compliance is maintained with External Certifications , legal requirements and customer requirements as required

• supporting a safe and engaging work environment across the business
• assessing and Reviewing Method Statements and Risk Assessments and offering mitigation measures on how risks can be reduced
• coaching site teams on H&S Matters and leading in house training with management, supervision and employees
• investigation of incidents, accidents, dangerous occurrences, including reporting back to Senior Management and maintaining company statistics
• undertaking Internal Auditing and occasional supplier auditing with reports and follow up of findings
• communicating Company Wide Safety issues to the relevant teams
• outlining safe operational procedures which identify and take into account all relevant hazards
• carrying out Regular site inspections and making changes to work practices to ensure compliance with both company policies and procedures and all relevant legislation
• recording of incidents, accidents and dangerous occurrences and maintaining health and safety statistics for company management meetings
• carrying out regular site inspections to check policies and procedures are being implemented in accordance with the clients H&S System

Requirements

• qualified in H&S to Level 5 Diploma and must have NEBOSH Certificate level as a minimum
• excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• excellent coaching and mentoring skills

• qualified and experienced in delivering training preferably holding a PTTLS, AET or higher-level qualification
• problem solver with the ability to deliver the solutions suggested
