  • check that the total amount of construction materials are correct, and report problems to Chief Quantity Surveyor and Construction Workerager
  • calculate the total amount of materials required for a construction project and ensure that the materials are purchased at the best prices possible
  • research the costs of materials, hire external contractors to help on difficult projects, and manage any legal matters that may arise during construction
  • perform financial analysis of construction projects., in order to ensure that projects remain within budget, and that all payments from clients are directed to subcontractors in an efficient manner
