Responsibility

to support specific retail initiatives and undertake any related training to maximise income generation through trading activities
to line manage, support, train and develop staff and volunteers within the cluster
achieve agreed sales targets and profits budgets across the cluster using Kudos and retail reports to measure performance, analyse and improve sales income whilst identifying opportunities for growth and controlling operating costs
to ensure trading standards information is kept updated and adhered to with all changes in legislation are communicated to the cluster team as soon as they are identified
to be responsible for the security of the shops both during and out of hours, to be a nominated key holder for each premise within the cluster and respond to any emergency call outs
undertake other duties which may be required by the organisation that are consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the role
participate in and contribute to the organisation’s activities, events and meetings

Requirements

this role requires an enhanced disclosure and barring service check
three years’ experience of middle management within a retail environment
three years’ experience of analysing and scrutinising sales data
commercial acumen, an ability to ensure operational stability and growth
to demonstrate a commitment to the mission, vision and values of the organisation
to demonstrate professionalism, whilst having a positive and enthusiastic attitude
access to a vehicle for work purposes
