Responsibility
develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and drive business growth within the assigned territory or customer segment
build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business
negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of agreements to secure profitable sales deals, while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining company profitability
prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to the specific needs of prospective clients
track sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends using CRM software, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for reporting and analysis
prospect and acquire new clients by identifying and engaging with decision-makers in the food service industry, including restaurant owners, chefs, and purchasing managers
stay up-to-date with industry developments, product knowledge, and competitor activities to effectively position our products and identify new business opportunities
conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our food products, highlighting their quality, taste, and value proposition
Requirements
proven experience in food service sales, preferably within the food and beverage industry
strong sales acumen and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently present and persuade clients
demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers
strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to handle objections and resolve customer concerns
self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proactive and persistent approach to achieving goals
familiarity with CRM software and proficient computer skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating with various departments to achieve sales objectives
