Responsibility

  • planned Maintenance inspections
  • MOT preparations and presenting for test
  • general vehicle servicing and repairs
  • all Diagnostic and repairs
  • attending on-road vehicle breakdowns

Requirements

  • 2 years of mechanical engineering experience
  • valid UK driving licence - PSV licence also preferred
  • experience in servicing both large and small PSV
  • excellent understanding of the PSV inspection manual and Categorisation of Defects
  • A minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in PSV/HGV maintenance and repair
