- we are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time sewer to join our dynamic team
- construct and assemble Irish dancing dresses according to design specifications
- as a sewer at Celtic Star, you will play a crucial role in creating our exquisite, high-quality dresses
- sew intricate patterns and embellishments, including embroidery, lace, and appliqué
- we are looking for our new team member to start early September but will be flexible for the right candidate
- ensure the highest level of quality and precision in all garments
- collaborate with designers and other team members to meet production deadlines
- perform alterations and repairs as needed
Requirements
- proven experience as a sewer, preferably in dressmaking or costume production
- proficiency with industrial sewing machines and various sewing techniques
- strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- ability to work with delicate fabrics and intricate designs
- good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
- knowledge of Irish dance and its traditional attire is a plus but not required
- machinist: 1 year
