Working hours

Responsibility

  • carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to a high standard
  • diagnose and rectify all types of faults
  • ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
  • maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
  • all job cards completed promptly for all work completed

Requirements

  • HGV license beneficial but not essential
  • proven experience working as a HGV mechanic
  • current driving license essential
  • technical qualification or proven experience repairing & maintaining vehicles
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure
