Working hours
- part-time | Temporary
Responsibility
- this is a part time position delivering 3 days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
- making sure the products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition
- ensuring the correct quantities are packed onto the van prior to delivering
- castleton Fruit is a highly successful soft fruit farm in Aberdeenshire. Soft fruits are grown on the farm for the retail trade throughout the UK season
- we also deliver wholesale berries to shops and businesses in the local surrounding area as well as Edinburgh and Central Belt and we currently have a position available, starting August 16th for a driver to deliver fruit to our Edinburgh customers
- start time and finish times may vary, but on average in our peak season you may start work at 7am and finish 7pm
- this position is generally only required until end of September, but there could be a possibility of some ad hoc work and return work again next year for the full season
- accurately completing delivery notes, and making sure customers receive correct and accurate delivery notes according to their orders and the office receives all counterparts
Requirements
- full UK clean driving licence
- minimum 3 years driving experience
- good time keeping skills
- friendly and professional demeanour
- delivery driver experience: 1 year
