Responsibility

• to work in a nursing and care home in South London within our portfolio of 31 Care homes which require improvements
• work closely with the commissioners, people living in our homes, families and our teams to improve outcomes for all stakeholders
• to ensure a safe, compliant, excellent quality level of care is provided to all the people living in our homes

Requirements

• care Home Management experience with older people
• registered Nurse qualified with active PIN - desirable
• excellent leadership qualities

• A passion for elderly care
• RMA level 4 or NVQ Level 5 qualified
• excellent CQC knowledge
• experience of working with improvement and project plans

Responsibility

• maintaining the building and equipment
• maintain awareness of the Company and Unit policies and procedures especially the Fire Policy
• participate in Training and Development as an individual and as part of the team

• get involved in the induction of new staff by training them on the building layout and fire policies and procedures
• maintain client and business confidentiality at all times
• control and ordering of stock and acceptance and checking of deliveries
• maintain an awareness of the Health and Safety requirements
• carry out routine checks weekly, monthly, annually on systems in the home and ensuring that external checks are carried out within the agreed timeframe – e.g Loler testing
• observe and maintain high levels of communication within the teams of staff, individual colleagues and residents
• to carry out any additional duties as requested
• to undertake any additional training and development programmes considered appropriate to enhance your contribution to the work at this home
• candidates will be required to complete an Enhanced DBS Application

Responsibility

• you’ll be providing management information on your findings and report on areas of concern and corrective action required
• you’ll be working closely with the Care Home Managers, clinical teams and you’ll report into the Regional Operations Director to give feedback on current performance, recommended improvements and quality outcomes
• to provide care expertise to the Care Home Managers ensuring care delivery reflects current best practice in line with CQC regulations and legislation. Not only implement but also sustain best practice throughout the portfolio
