Responsibility

  • A varied role reporting into the Managing Director
  • basic credit control. Sending of statements, chasing of overdue accounts, liaising with both customers and customer service team to resolve problems
  • bank and Vat Reconciliations
  • other tasks as requested by the accountant
  • general purchase, sales and nominal ledger work. To include the allocation of bank payments received to sales invoices, matching and posting of purchase invoices to orders and reconciliation work

Requirements

  • must be an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with good people skills
  • organised and methodical
  • strong numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • self-motivated with initiative
  • confident with telephone, admin and customer communications
  • accounting: 2 years
