Requirements

  • must hold a current counterbalanced forklift truck licence
  • full driving license required
  • experience of working at Supervisor level in Warehouse in the distribution industry
  • ability to build and develop successful long term relationship with customers, commercial teams and departments
  • ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to work within a multi-cultural environment and with all levels of the organisation
  • project management skills and experience. Demonstrate problem solving skills and experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • must have a ‘can do attitude’ with a high level of self motivation

Responsibility

  • the role is responsible for supervising all day to day operational tasks in a medium sized distribution warehouse
  • from goods in through to goods out and all points in between
  • you will also be required to learn and become involved in the gerneral administration and processes within the wider business
  • you will lease with our manufacturing facility which is over seas and work closely with our administration and sales teams based on site in Manchester
