Responsibility

  • you will need to understand the residents' psychological, emotional, and medical needs in a compassionate and person-centered way
  • as a live-in carer, you will be living in the resident’s home over a 24-hour period for weeks at a time. To provide, help with household chores and support the residents to access the local and broader community and personal care if needed
  • above all else, you’ll provide companionship and emotional support and stability for the resident, encouraging them to maintain their independence and reach their goals
