Responsibility

  • the hospital has three wards that will require your attentiveness whilst also providing the opportunity for remote/ flexible working
  • this includes assessment, formulation, intervention and evaluation in line with the patient’s presentation and care pathway
  • to hold management, clinical and professional supervision responsibilities for junior psychology staff as directed by the Head of Psychology
  • hoyte Hope Care currently have a hospital in Solihull that are looking for a Principle Psychologist to join their Mental Health Rehabilitation team as soon as possible, 30 hrs per week
  • contribute to the development of evidence-based practices, strategies and policies as requested by the Head of Psychology
  • conduct research, service evaluation and audit as appropriate as guided by the Head of Psychology and Senior Management Team
  • you will use your skills and experience, to undertake the role as Principal Psychologist for a designated ward and/or group of patients as agreed with the head of psychology
  • develop own skills and experience as a psychologist
