Responsibility
- lead and manage the daily operations of the care facility, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of residents
- supervise and support staff members, fostering a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and high standards of care
- ensure effective medication administration practices are followed in accordance with regulatory guidelines
- maintain accurate records and documentation related to resident care and staff performance
- conduct regular assessments of resident needs and adjust care plans as necessary
- liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support for residents
- promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team through training and development opportunities
Requirements
- proven experience in a leadership role within a 24 supported living care home or similar setting is essential
- working knowledge of CQC standards and rgulations
- strong knowledge of senior care practices, including medication administration and care planning
- risk assessments/ including forensic mental health
- experience in supervising staff and managing teams effectively
- excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff alike
- A compassionate approach to caregiving with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents
