Responsibility

  • we are now seeking an experienced home manager or a former deputy manager with significant experience in residential homes
  • daisy House is to be registered as a EBD 3 bedded children's home accommodating children and young people from the age between 10 -17 years old. We are an established provider with other homes in Oxford
  • tulip House strictly follows government guidelines

Requirements

  • minimum or working towards- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • currently hold a Level 5 in Leadership and Management
  • experience of Ofsted Registration
  • thorough knowledge of child development issues
  • extensive experience of working in a residential setting
  • detailed understanding of Children’s Home Regulations 2015, Health and Safety Requirements, Equal Opportunities, Anti-Discriminatory Practice and other relevant legislation
  • understanding of a variety of different care practice or therapeutic models
  • experience of leading and motivating teams
