Responsibility
- perform repair work on all makes and models of vehicles including engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more
- perform quality control inspections on vehicles for needed repairs
- communicate with customers regarding scheduled appointments and other concerns
- maintain a clean work environment and follow all safety procedures
- assist in the purchase of parts for repairs
- other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds above your head and stand for up to 10 hours at a time
- must be able to operate basic computer programs
- must be able to work overtime as needed when needed
- must be able to work in a shop environment with tools and equipment that are not the same size as those used in the average garage but are nonetheless adequate for the services required by the position
