Requirements
good general education – GCSE / equivalent or relevant career experience
driving licence as this role requires extensive travel
excellent verbal and written communication
worked in a small team environment, managing a high workload and supporting the work of others including people management
demonstrate sound sales processes and techniques, especially the ability to negotiate and actively close sales
high standard of personal presentation and the ability to present to all levels
minimum of 2-3 years in a field sales role, preferably managing a commodity product / service or account management / development within a multi franchised retailer group
enthusiastic, flexible, resilient and capable of using own initiative
Responsibility
planning and implementing sales, marketing and development activities in both the development and winning of new volume retailer business
adhere to Company policies, procedures and behavioural requirements at all times
the individual will be targeted on unit sales and margins generated from supporting retailers and from new business
attend internal/external training courses as required and directed by the Account Manager
they will also be measured based on the overall profitability of the business
use the ‘claims analyser’ to proactively manage the loss ratio for all regional accounts in line with CCP standards
maintain and update a detailed knowledge of all manufacturer products within your remit
ensuring our customers receive, and retailers deliver, the best possible outcomes in relation to FCA governance and regulatory responsibilities
