• execute busy services of up to 200 pax daily across multiple days and clients
• follow menus, methods and specifications as directed by the Head Chef and Sous Chef
• all recipes must be accurately recorded and passed on to the Sous Chef, Head Chef or Executive Chef

• food and drink preparation: Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with the effective preparation and development of food and drink
• in close collaboration with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, regularly review the taste, smell, texture, presentation and cleanliness of all food and drink
• ensure all daily HACCP tasks are executed as outlined on the TRAIL APP
• receipt of deliveries, goods quality, quantity and weight check, cost check and record temperature when required. Report any issues immediately to the Head or Sous Chef

• 3-4 years of experience in well respected restaurants or catering companies with excellent references

• design, build and execute data collection and data manipulation pipelines required to build and operate the Cantine suite of tools
• perform feature extraction and feature engineering from audio files and other sources required to train and deploy our predictive models
• apply a range of standard and advanced data science algorithms to train, validate and implement the Cantine model suite

• support the engineering team in accurate implementation of the models and their downstream use in the Cantine product suite
• support the wider data science team in providing business-focussed insight

Requirements

• deep knowledge of a range of supervised and unsupervised ML methods
• good understanding of statistical concepts such as sample size calculation, confidence interval estimation and hypothesis testing
