- support and encourage children and young people to follow and complete daily routines with hygiene and personal care
- to perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking and vacuuming and maintain a clean and tidy home environment
- to address young people’s needs according to their individual care plans

- supporting young people to attend and engage in education
- to facilitate and ensure that young people attend appointments, medical, professional, reviews and family contact e.g. LAC, PEP
- to be responsible for the care and safeguarding of the young people
- to complete key work tasks routinely
- to drive and transport young people safely in the home vehicle where required
- to complete relevant inhouse and mandatory training as requested
- to ensure factual recording and evidencing of young people’s engagement in and outside the home environment
