Responsibility

  • book in incoming clinical samples according to current procedures
  • running, under supervision, clinical laboratory procedures
  • assist main clinical lab staff to improve efficiency, TAT’s and lab productivity
  • referral of clinical samples to external labs
  • routine laboratory housekeeping
  • carry out routine maintenance of instruments and systems according to schedule
  • attend lab meetings
  • input into the QMS

Requirements

  • essential
  • BSc in Biomedical science or equivalent
  • computer literate
  • self-motivated, good communication skills and a team player
