Responsibility
- lead and manage the warehouse operations team to ensure efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of products
- monitor inventory levels and collaborate with relevant teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- implement and uphold warehouse safety protocols and ensure adherence to company policies
- coordinate with other departments to ensure timely order fulfilment and resolve any operational challenges
- provide coaching, guidance, and performance feedback to team members
- as a leading distributor of motorcycle and bicycle tyres to the trade, we are committed to delivering quality products and exceptional service to our customers across the UK
- oversee equipment maintenance and liaise with suppliers as needed
- contribute to the development and implementation of process improvement initiatives
Requirements
- proven experience in warehouse management or a related supervisory role
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices
- proficiency in using warehouse management systems and related software
- warehouse experience: 1 year
