Responsibility
- perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines and procedures
- diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and technical issues with vehicles
- conduct inspections and perform necessary repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, suspension, and transmissions
- utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner
- maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used
Requirements
- previous experience as a service technician or in a similar role is preferred
- strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and equipment repair procedures
- proficient in welding techniques for vehicle repairs
- ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required
- familiarity with GM vehicles is a plus
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
