- A-Level or equivalent
Responsibility
- prepare well detailed quotations and tenders for projects in a timely manner
- undertake site measures, surveys and quantity takeoffs for projects
- flexibility to travel to site
- continuously review, criticise and improve all cost proposals to ensure we’re meeting client expectations and brief
- work extra hours when discretionary effort is required to win projects
- business Development – build new and enhance existing customer relationships for future projects
- assist Contracts team with costing of variations which arise on site
- participating and interacting in team campaigns and events
Requirements
- qualifications/Experience in Construction Industry is required. Experience in Interior Fitout is advantageous
- experience working as a design and build contractor is preferred
- attention to detail
- responsive and used to working in a changeable and deadline driven environment
- strong written and verbal communication skills with other team members
- experience presenting cost proposals and pitching with confidence
- speed – be able to turnaround estimates and tasks quickly in order to enable a fast response to client
- estimating/Surveying: 3 years
