Responsibility
- perform high-quality painting work on walls, ceilings, and surfaces according to established standards and guidelines
- collaborate with the project management team to plan and execute projects, ensuring minimal disruption to project operations
- prepare surfaces for decorating by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as necessary
- select and mix paint colours to achieve the desired aesthetic while adhering to design guidelines
- safeguard all equipment, furniture, and fixtures in the work area, ensuring their protection during the painting process
- maintain a clean and organised work environment, disposing of waste materials responsibly
- complete tasks efficiently within the designated time frame while upholding the highest quality standards
- adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring the well-being of both yourself and others
Requirements
- proven experience as a painter & decorator, preferably within the construction industry
- valid CSCS Card
- proficiency in using a variety of decorating tools including brushes, rollers, and other necessary equipment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
- strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- good communication skills to coordinate with team members
- punctual, reliable, and dedicated to maintaining a professional work ethic
